On my way Senior Member 521 posts Joined: Nov 2005	yesterday i downloaded from tvbnow, but the quality still cannot compared to hdzone. File size is bigger but very poor quality. Really missed dabbiemy uploads

I saw a drama before starring Ekin Cheng & Roger Kwok. Roger played a villain too. His acting was fantastic in that drama. Cant really remember the name. In the early 90's.

On my way Senior Member 521 posts Joined: Nov 2005	After watching Gem of Life for 5 episodes, i quit. This drama is rubbish. The east west side is out coz no proper actor(note:male only). On my way Senior Member 521 posts Joined: Nov 2005	（香港訊）無線82集長劇《珠光寶氣》播映4個月以來，收視及口碑都未如理想，大前晚播映大結局，更令觀眾滿頭問號，不少情節都未有交代，遭炮轟草率收場。自殺無影復合成謎無線大前晚播映《珠光寶氣》大結局，令觀眾摸不著頭腦的情節有康雅思(蔡少芬飾)有否對賀峰(岳華飾)見死不救？過場常出現康雅思浴缸自殺一幕最后亦沒播出、賀哲男(陳豪飾)與康雅瞳(黎姿飾)又會否復合？都變成一個謎。之前主角們鬥生鬥死，結局卻突然全部360度改變大徹大悟，大團圓收場，令觀眾感到無所適從。曾有傳無線拍下康雅思自殺死、白筱柔(李司棋飾)病死的悲劇結局，但司棋姐否認，指拍攝時只有播出的開心版本。《珠光寶氣》長達 82集，卡士陣容強勁，播映前萬眾矚目，被看高一線。可惜自去年10月開播以來，除首周有平均31點(逾197萬觀眾)收視外，之后全是2字頭，27、 28點，甚至跌至25點(約160萬觀眾)，以無線黃金檔計，成績實在不能算好。直至上周劇情進入結局高潮，平均收視才再度攀上3字頭，有30點(約 190萬觀眾)。劇中上流社會的種種爭鬥及人物扭曲的性格，都令不少觀眾難以共鳴；不過亦有不少捧場客，特別是近月進入尾聲，劇情高潮迭起，只可惜結局平淡令他們失望。有網友評論﹕“如一匹脫疆野馬，狂奔而去，發現外面的時候卻面目全非，又莫名其妙回到原來的地方。”雖然結局惹來網友抨擊，但也有愛看開心大團圓結局的觀眾讚好。 in my view. GOL is a failure. (i watched until ep5, knowing this drama is directionless) Now, i m waiting for the drama starring Gallen Lo & Ray Lui. i believe this one will be a good one.. Then only I watch back Academy lol.. tis is normal la. When a certain actor/actress not interested or not free to act in a sequel, TVB will arrange a scene (s)he died, killed, fly to overseas, dissapear, capture by aliens blah blah..
