Gem Of Life trailer is previewing in AOD channel.. From the preview I can say that this film might beat MR and grab 2008 best TVB drama awards..

if u noticed when roger kwok throw his mum on the floor, u'll notice that it's a man with a woman's wig during the fall..

somehow i feel GoL a bit like Chong Sai Gei in term of talking and scripts.. I love drama with hidden meaning statement (similar to the one with Carina Lau and Tai Yue 90's drama from ATV).. I give GoL 8/10 at the moment..

I think all the award is well awarded..

Michelle Yim really deserve the award, you can really agree on how wicked she acted in MR especially the expression during the wedding ceremony..

I feel pity for Kevin Cheng, last year and this year not even 1 award.. But I hope that will not crush his faith in this drama industry and keep on going ^^ (despite Har Yu already waited 40+ years, I wonder when is Kevin turn)

Btw Liza Wang very funny lol.. Her words are well meaningful + poisonous *wicked smile

sweetness in the salt is quite good, film scene quality is better overall especially the rain-fightning scene between tavia and steven, i like how director direct those scene in drama ^^ shud use this technique more often in all costume drama series..

frankly i hate astro channel 302, too many spoilers, if watch the cut scene everyweek in that channel no mood already lol..

I have to say after seeing these trailer, it seem like all of them is high budget production from the film quality and the CG's used in the Kungfu Hustle alike drama that Lam Fung starred in with "Bao Jou Poh" and Yuen Wah xD..

Ada Choi supergirl lol, you can really notice each time she appear in flying scene she yell "Woooo"..

Tavia and Charmaine's drama seem like War and Beauty, but the plot is quite nice =)

And DIE 2 is cool lol..

this year i think raymond lam very few drama in tvb coz he said that he is going to concentrate on his music career more in 2009.. i heard the kungfu series featuring him being replaced by Kevin Cheng because of his music career..

Saw 5 episode of Greatness of Hero.. Storyline is very nice.. Yeah the 3D work on the palace is a bit not convincing (although it's only 1-2 secs flash scene), TVB should put strict quality restriction on their 3D department to do better work, maybe because this drama is not high budget..

Sonija Kwok, imo, very beautiful in costume drama.. Her skin shine leh lol..

i actually like the ending, imo the best scene in GoL with hidden meaning that need our imagination to grasp it..

i've seen trailer of OFF PEDDER on youtube, but how come Astro On Demand doesn't show it >.< cheat money ah!!!

I like On The First Beat and it give me a good impression, because Fiona Sit die in the first episode, the scene where she died impress me cause I never tot she as one of the major cast in Academy will die in this sequel.. Then only I watch back Academy lol..

I can consider myself an artistic person myself and such ending is what impress me, if everything is revealed and explained from top to bottom i would said GoL is a suck drama then

GoL is directed by the director who direct War and Beauty and that drama end without explaining what happen to the palace after the rebellion attack, those who died had died and those who run had run away leaving only ending with poem by Sheren Tang aka Yue Fei and I still enjoy that drama till today cause it really touches the heart..

The GoL ending is actually for us to grasp it, if you think Constance and Terence should be back together, then it's together, if you think Jessica did kill her husband even after the flashback revealed, then Jessica is a murderer.. But strangely I didn't think and ask of those but instead during the Lee See Kei scene at the end, I imagine myself in her position and grasp what her heart is feeling with those flashback in that hallroom, I feel what she feel and it is a very good ending..

Am I being exaggerated? Haha
