Hi, there will be a blues harmonica workshop conducted by a French harmonica player named Eric Bonhomme. This workshop is free of charge!

If you ever wanted to learn more about blues harp playing this is your chance. Even if you are an intermediate or advanced player, you will benefit a lot from this. If you don't know anything about playing harp or you're just a beginner, you should probably come too.

If you play harmonica, bring them with you for this workshop!!

Time: undecided, will be announced soon. (sometime around the day time)

Day & Date: Wednesday, 2/9/08

Venue: The Duke
(Duta Vista Executive Suites, 1 Persiaran Ledang, Off Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur)

Things to expect:
- Live demonstrations.
- A talk about the blues.
- Stories about personal experiences in USA and around the world.
- Explanations, advice and live examples about different types of harps and their applications. (wood combs, plastic combs, tunings, genres)
- How to play acoustic and/or amplified.
- Personal evaluation and training advice.
- A few harps for sale.

Note: We need a blues bassist and drummer for the demonstrations. Please let me know if you are interested.

Those who are interested in coming for the workshop, or can confirm that they can come, please post to let me know. smile.gif

PS: I'm very excited about this. It's rare to find harmonica players here in Malaysia, almost impossible to find any teachers, it's even more rare to have real blues harp workshop/clinics. Don't pass up this chance if you can because this is a rare opportunity indeed!
