i suggest mozilla firefox / Avant Browser for a safer surfing. less trojan threat.
i haven't been using ie since the Firefox was introduced. few years back  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

ie is just like a magnet to the viruses & trojans !!

Unless Avant Browser modifies IE's security settings (most notably ActiveX permissions) it is no more secure than using IE itself in many aspects, since it well uses IE!

Here's an interesting comparison between the heuristics test for multiple AV software.

why last time I saw one article different 1 , that article state that NOD32 is in top of the list while others like norton is way down but this is different sweat.gif

and theres no AVG inside  doh.gif

There's no Norton in the list either, are you confusing it with Norman? AVG was not listed because it didn't detected the virus without a signature update.

This tests the AV software against recent threats, and is not definitive about the overall heuristics detection ability.
