QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Sep 3 2008, 09:23 PM) Hey BLM owners, I'm interested in buying one but I've heard many saying the manual car is hard to drive.. 1) acceleration for a 1.3 is acceptable if u r not comparing with anything more than that.I've tried it once and the common 'problems' are: * slow reaction when i accelerate * first gear damn hard to engage * hard to find the balance (the point of releasing the clutch to enable smooth gear change) * rpm drops very slowly when clutch is pressed to change gear (by the time you change to another gear... the engine like roaring d) Is it because of the car or is it our driving habits that need change?? 2) need time to get used to it, u can have the sc to adjust it to ure prefered engage height tho. 3) need time to get used to it too. 4) the engine itself seems to rev up a bit when u press the clutch due to drive-by-wire technology slow response. tat's y it drops slowly. QUOTE(M0NEY$ @ Sep 3 2008, 11:11 PM) My saga blm got alot of problem 1) how high? depends on ure right foot oso1)high fuel consumption 2)not smooth acceleration, kinda slow and no power 3)door problem, when i press the door hard the light will bright even i lock it. 4)even with power steering i still feel the steering is heavier and slower then other car 2) r u comparing with a 1.3 o some higher cc car? 3) bring back to sc to let them check 4) enough air inside ure tires? QUOTE(akiraceo @ Sep 4 2008, 07:49 PM) Gosh..can't wait for my BLM too.. dun worry, u will get used to it the agent said around Raya time can get.. hopefully LOL.. Getting manual tho.. after reading from this thread.. found out it will be a hard car to drive in the beginning.. @@ |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Oct 10 2008, 02:26 PM) i tot 300 will over-inflat the tyre n will cause premature wear and minimize the grip surface area. will it be better to follow the recommended pressure than from the workshop guy? |

QUOTE(erictioh @ Oct 12 2008, 09:51 PM) if u need to pay for it, then maybe u wanna go look for some side mirrors which r more aerodynamic n can create downforce for ure car. mine seems to vibrate alot when i hit 140km/h. not aerodynamic at all. |

QUOTE(bobby85 @ Oct 30 2008, 10:25 AM) 1) I know that it's a small problem, but still, i'm just pointing it out to see if others is experiencing the same thing as me or not...hehe...paiseh... 1) have to call them from time to time. better if u can ask ure salesperson to ask for u directly.2) Not those loud sound when you're rev-ing your car high....It's the sound when i already start my car, then when I leave it there, the sound is so coarse compared to a few months back. 3) Normally city drive...2.5k ~ 3k rev...80 ~ 90km/h most of the time...At highways...normally will be 110 ~ 140km/h...sometimes 160km/h.... 4) Not as in being hit by stones...it's like as if something is loose inside the door there....i dunno how 2 explain it out....but u'll get the picture when u put some coins on the tray just below the power outlet of our blm and when u drive through some bumpy road...it's like those sounds.... 2) maybe the IAFM problem like MR_alien said. u drivin auto? 3) this question maybe linked with ure no.2 question. 4) when i go thru left cornering a bit hard, i can hear some sounds coming out from my driver side, some tik tik soft sound. probably from my door. |
