I remember getting a Kancil 850 for 29k back in year 2002...Shehhhh

I just got my car three days back....

First day, it goes smoothly, but somehow at the evening, there was some smell coming out from the front engine when I stopped the car for the day.

For the second and third day, the smell still there (at the engine place) and also there is some winding sound (wheeeeee, zezeze) kinda of sound every ten or fifteen seconds even when the car was idle. It will go silent for a while and then the sound starts again, even when the car is idle and not moving. When I pickup, it seems like not smooth at all and I have to press hard and it seems a lot of oil is consume and suddenly the car is like pushing too hard forward...

Is this normal or should I go SC for a check? I just drove for 120 km only or I am starting to worrying too much. Apart from the sounds coming from the front intermittently, everything seems fine to me, just that I find it that the brake is too high forward, and the oil pedal is too deep inside. Is that adjustable...

Would appreciate if bro out here can give some advice.... feeling worried now as the sound grew louder since yesterday. It does not happen to have those sound on the first day....

what smell? our engine is famous with very hot one, the sounds (whee, zee) izit the air cond sound, cos it is like "breathing"...the pickup is slow from 1k to 2k ...then after 2k, the power suddenly coming our until 4k or more than it....

mayb u start ur car and try to open ur car engine cover to c what happening there...try to check ur ekzoz whether got petrol smell or other weird smell....the brake is ok la...bt i don knw whether can adjust o nt//

FYI, our engine sound quite loud one...bt it is normal la...if u still worry, try to ask ur fren to check with u...

I did update a bit..not really solution, but is something I tried to see how it is...

kekeke been up to Genting with the rest of the members and skyline club...automatic not bad the power but the delay is a downfall, otherwise its quite good for the climb up.

It's like some burning smell like that lor....

But is the breathing normal ar?

Maybe I will go SC to have it check out?

Can overcome the delay power by depands on how u step the pedal? Just try to ask since u been up hill & see if some use trick u experienced & can share with us

Hmmm Saga BLM... I think it would be a great buy for my family to replace my mum's aging Fiat.

Unfortunately, my dad has already ordered a Myvi for my sister without even consulting my mum or me (I'm overseas, what to do). Urgh... I feel so disappointed, I think Myvi is such a waste of money considering you get a bigger car with slightly more power for RM 13k less.


Mind sharing me your good and bad experiences with this car guys? Even better if you can do your own comparison with the P2 car that I mentioned above.

bigger??...haha...saga is bigger for my opinion....the leg space bigger for both front and back passager...
trunk space sure is a lot bigger...haha
for pickup...sure myvi wins 1st...haha
