Im still using the blue, still havent hoi cheong my white and red. Maybe during some Christmas dinner I will use my white. Then change to red during CNY....I think all will go well with my white N79

I tried the Video Manager to convert a 700mb avi file. After conversion its about 200mb only but the process takes a long time. Movie was equally clear as on my pc and running smooth.

Im loving this phone every minute.

One thing - I bought a USB to 2mm charger (CA-100) it didnt want to charge the phone. I think maybe the huge battery on the N79 has something to do with it. Other Nokia phones charges fine.

I also just bought a 8GB microSD for rm65. Hope to put it as soon as i do a backup. Looking to buy the car charger soon - anyone using this?

once that happened to me too - i was at pc fair, my phone has about 4 bars left of battery life. It was on standby from the day before. Then I went PC fair, do some surfing for maybe 1hour. Still the battery shows enough. Then suddenly at one point, it says my battery is low warning.... sad.gif

so yes I think there is a sudden drop and not to rely on the reading

the red LED is AF assist light ?
is that no way to turn off ?
*
i dun think it assist in focusing. because when i focus in dark areas, the LED flash would come on for a split second to focus then goes off again. the red light is to warn others you are taking a photo or video. no way to turn off unless you physically take it out or tape it over

Today I put on the white cover and loaded the Christmas theme =

ya.. i noticed that.. if i switch on flash then the red led wont light up..today i tried to take pic using closed up mode.. damn clear man.. juz like i using my dc to take the pic. amazing..

oh yeah, if flash is on then the red light wont come on but try turning off the flash, and you will see the red light. my point is no matter what you set, there is light, either red or the flash itself
