I have a Polar HRM and it's the same as included in the N79 Active, the Polar WearLink. I wonder if I just get the N79, will it work with my existing HRM? probably a firmware update on the phone will do the trick. What do you guys think?

Hi, Thanks very much for your help in setting up garmin. I can now use garmin with various maps on my phone as I travel a lot. I can even create my routes using via points and create waypoints for POI using mapsource. Thanks again.

By the way, my friend gave me a Nokia BL-5F battery from his N95 phone and it fits the N79. It is 950mah instead of 1200mah for BL-6F. Can I use this BL-5F for my N79?

guys please try this -

1. open the shutter door (which activates the camera)
2. then call yourself

you will get an engage tone and the call wont come thru. please check to see if yours does the same thing

thanks. man, i wish i can go back to the old 10.049

i got this freeware, i repeat, freeware, that utilizes the accelerometer to :

-switch profile to silent
-silent the ringtone of incoming call
-snooze the alarm

when u flip or turn over the phone with screen down on the table.

5800 is hard to sms, slow, features not as good as N79 imho. some of the bigger fonts also blur blur wan (eg. keypad,). for me i prefer smaller and thinner unit than something as big as the 5800
