hey guys is dream theater any good??

Dream Theater, good? Nah.

Short of me using profanity, Dream Theater are frickin' awesome! Have been a long time fan and when I saw them last year in Singapore, they absolutely blew me away. Fantastic showmanship from the members.

Highly recommended albums for starters:

Images and Words
Awake
Falling into Infinity
Train of Thought
Systematic Chaos

Mike Amott only recorded 2 albums with Carcass
- necroticism descanting the insalubrious
- heartwork

he had more melodic stuff in heartwork

True. Both Amott and Steer solos compliment each other.
I prefer Steer's solo tho.

I doubt you could get any original rock tees here now. You could try Buntil at Puduraya or BB Plaza for a used tee tho.

been hunting for ori band tees for ages, but cant get any. IMO, its either ordering online, or ask some1 to buy from overseas and hand and hand it to ya. normally i bought those 'celup' 1s at bangkok, as here u can find lots (especially the weekend market)! quality wise, not the top class quality 1s, but at least i got what i want. locally, i bought from victoria music station, kota raya there. lol

so, if any 1 have any ideas of getting the ori band tees, do let me know too. thanks yall.

i will go check out buntil, as mention by Xnobys perhaps.

cheers.

hm, DT album for starters? it really depends. u might want to try out metropolis : scene from a memory. after images and words, DT had a hard time making new stuff, since InW was a big hit. they found their 'groove' and their trademark in SFAM. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence also not bad, one of DT finest album ever.

bahahhaa, yeah i didnt go to caliban, not very into it, but i heard it was soo packed is it? i watched Miles away and FC 5 over there
it wasnt crowded, it was nice, but Misery Signals is just something i dont wanna miss, ive seen them 4 times before when i lived in overseas
theyre too good @ live performance.

but should come early tho to be at the front haha. hopefully there wont be too many people as caliban, lets hope for that!

ps: i heard they already renovated that place? the MCPA hall? do they make it bigger???

might consider going if my friend is going..but MCPA hall is way too stuffy >_<

front is even worse..during Caliban it was so damn stuffy it was really hard to even breathe >_>

I'm not sure about the renovation, but i think they should make the ventilation much better sweat.gif
