QUOTE(fragglerock @ Oct 20 2010, 12:23 AM) ulver, was a black metal band then branch to other genre ah. just found that the band I meant is Theatre of Tragedy... I don't listen to them though I've just checked out some songs of Ulver on youtube. Yeah their later stuff is more to Avant-Garde/Ambient/Electronica lol I like the music video of 'It Is Not Sound'

this goes to show not a lot of bands can be like slayer, sounding the same again n again.
Ulver's Bergtatt - Et Eeventyr i 5 Capitler is pretty sweet, a combo between black and folk/atmospheric.

Well, I'm collecting stuff by Carcass right now. So far I got Symphonies of Sickness, Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious, and Heartwork. I really love Ken Owen's drumming.

Try Teutonic Thrash such as Destruction,Kreator, Sodom too Those are good list. Try 'em all. Well, most of it. Check youtube if you're not sure.
