Try Exodus and Anthrax. Floatsam and Jetsam and Voivod are great too if you don't mind to slightly step outside of thrash metal.

If you got guts try to enter this contest and you might win the Dave Mustaine new autobiography and imported Endgame CD.

Mike is on the road touring with 'that' band for promoting their latest album. Not a good sign, but it is interesting for DT since people said Mike have too much influence and ego regarding DT musical direction.

Yup. I'm a huge fan. You can't go wrong with Testament. Great band, great music and great legacy. One unfairly underrated bands out there. The partnership between Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, while not as flashy as Hammet and Hetfield, Mustaine and ________ (insert names), still stay true to metal roots and philosophy. While Chuck Billy.. What can I can I say.. Never a dull moment. Great live band too.

Check out the first four albums: The Legacy, The New Order, Practice What You Preach and Souls Of Black. Of course, don't forget The Formation Of Damnation.

While for Heavy Metal, if you graduated with Iron Maiden, then the logic choice is, what else other than the mighty Judas Priest.

Good luck.
