After almost three decades, Dave Mustaine will be playing with Metallica again on stage tonight in San Francisco for Metallica's fourth and final intimate sold out show at the Fillmore as part of the week-long celebration of its 30th anniversary as a band. Dave will be playing five songs with Metallica; "Hit The Lights", "Metal Militia", "Phantom Lord", "Jump In the Fire", and "Seek And Destroy".

December 11, 2011 - DAVE MUSTAINE PERFORMS WITH METALLICA AT FINAL ANNIVERSARY SHOW

History was made last night (Saturday, December 10) when Dave Mustaine rejoined Metallica on stage for the first time in almost three decades to perform with the band. Dave played five songs with Metallica; "Hit The Lights", "Metal Militia", "Phantom Lord", "Jump In the Fire", and "Seek And Destroy". Former Metallica members Jason Newsted, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner, along with the band's longtime producer Bob Rock, as well as Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler also joined Metallica on stage last night for the fourth and final intimate show at the Fillmore in San Francisco as part of the week-long celebration of its 30th anniversary as a band for fan club members only.
Metallica's first full lineup — featuring James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney — played its first gig on March 14, 1982 at Radio City in Anaheim, California.

The music television channel, MTV, banned the music video for "A Tout Le Monde" claiming that it was pro-suicide. However, in an interview conducted around 1994, Dave Mustaine states:

It's not a suicide song. What it is, it's, you, it's when people have a loved one that dies and they end on a bad note, you know, they wish that they could say something to them. So this is an opportunity for the deceased to say something before they go. And it was my impression of what I would like to say to people, if I had say, 3 seconds to do so in life before I died I'd say to the entire world, to all my friends, I love you all, and now I must go. These are the last words I'll ever speak, and they'll set me free. I don't have to say I'm sorry, I don't have to say I'm going to miss you, or I'll wait for ya. You know, I'll just say I loved you all, good, bad, indifferent, I loved you all.[1]

Mustaine has openly criticized MTV for the banning of the video, saying "You made Kurt Cobain man of the year, and if anything he left an indelible last message that the easy way out is to blow your f***ing head off."

I think so, Mustaine was credited for one of the riff from the song. I don't remember which riff, but it's famously known for his spider chord.

Dave Mustaine rarely sing along with the crowd. I don't know about Singapore concert but Megadeth rarely interact with the crowd in the middle of a song. If this was on BECK (Japanese manga), people would call it "focus too much on the notes" or "lack of showmanship". But personally, i like it. You pay good money for the show. Just sit tight, relax, sing along if you want or bang your head. Dave and his mates will handle the rest.
