I bought my 360 from ACE.Why my 360 clock is cannot been set?).**c* ACE. I'm not gonna buy PS3 from them later!!! Can anyone give explanation to my roblem (also has heard PS3 bought from ACE has this problem also)

360 clock is reset every time you pull the plug. It will be updated each time you log into LIVE.

it's not ACE problem or ur XBOX problem.. it's microsoft problem.

thats normal for all 360 users......so its not ACE fault...

Eh.. is that true? I never went online and i always pull the plug and my ps3 clock never reverts back to the default time.

err...wrong statement before...ps3 dont have this probs actually..

it's a shame with a new techs and gadgets but poorly m$ can't think about placing a simple motherboard battery would solve a problem

at the very least , a user replacable battery , like the ancient sega saturn .lol

Well, not just the 360 actually. Even the first Xbox does not have a CMOS battery for storing the date and time. I'm not complaining though. Very minor issue for me. But it did give out a 'huh?' from me the first couple of times.

Big deal on the time & date. But it was a big deal to me for the first few times hehehe.

although this might be unrelated to your thread ..just so you know i bought a ps3 from ACE in prangin few months back. and 2 weeks later problme on my date time appear and everytime i restart my ps3, i have to set the date time.

Added on August 29, 2008, 10:32 pmchecked with the shop owner.. he said don't know what happen and ask me reupdate my firmware (which i did and still the same)... and ever since i will never go back to that shop and won't get anything from them. ever again.

i do believe penang had many gameshop , why still supporting ACE ? or may be ACE already open-up @ change some of the parts so they can sell it cheaper,thats why the system would have that some sort of probs..who knows rite..they touch here and there...

Be professional la, all these gen console are not so perfect...each console have their own good and bad.
So why so serius about it just enjoy the game and have fun....

well i guess this has nothing to do with being professional... all the above posts are just to make the consumers aware of the issues we are facing and make a wiser decision on where they gonna get their stuff from.

in fact the word "professional" should be directed to the shop owner selling the console itself. Every console does have its good and bad but "they" shouldn't make it worst.

btw, PS3 has confirmed to get official launch here in penang as well in september. Finally we now have an option to get from authentic source.

anyway it just a clock , do we look at the time via console? i do have lot of clock in my gaming room ( 4 of them )..as long as it working fine , perfect..why worried...but ok may be he wanna to get crystal clear answer from others..thats good..btw waa beriman juga kau yer...bagus,bagus...

agree with u Remedy...seller not just make profit but they also help us as customer al well as a gamer.That whay seller do, not just make profit n make US SUFFER..
well...PS3 launch here in Malaysia, don't u think the seller will sell PS3 much higher than now or much cheaper?
