Hello,

I'm looking to buy an apartment perhaps @ Sunway Sutera or Riana Green.

Anyone staying there, and what do you think about it?

I was considering Cita Damansara too actually... other suggestions will be most welcome.

it all depends on your budget. if you ask me, for my own biased reasons, the best one there is opal damansara.

riana is a little too high density for my liking. however, there are some units there going for very cheap at the moment.

sutera and riana are also too close to the chinese school, and the road there is constantly jammed.

Budget is around 250 - 380k... I like Riana for the decoration and maintenance, plus the nice trees. Pricing is well within budget too actually.

But yeah, you're right, it's really jammed.

Will check out Opal Damansara. What's the market price nowadays anyway?

i think you can get a 1140sf unit for about 360k or so after negotiation.

also note that the riana price has been falling recently... for what reason i don't know... but it is worrying.

hmm... that's still within budget i suppose.

Actually, the whole reason I started this topic was because of the dropping price of riana green & sunway sutera. Economy downforce maybe...? Can't comment much on that... but the rental prices seem to still retain same.

There was a unit going for 280k @ 1200 ft at sunway sutera; had a nice view.

Anyway, just seeing my options. Thanks again for your feedback johnsonm. smile.gif

Ahh, I'm looking for somewhere around the PJ area actually... my office is in Damansara Uptown.

How is the traffic, honestly, in USJ anyway? I used to study there 5 years ago, was pretty bad...

erm... no way you could land Bukit Utama for 400 - 480k. I tried, but couldn't get hold of one.

It's a pretty nice place actually, but too pricey. My wife and I liked the place, but can't find a basic unit. Would love to get a basic unit and renovate ourselves.
