You have to grind the edge of the "H" steel bracket a little to get it fitted cause the mosfet heatsink is blocking

i happen to use deepcool killer whale on Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, when i align the "H" bracket to the 4 point mounting holes during installation i found out that the mosfet heatsink is blocking approx. 0.4mm, so i grind off approx. 0.4mm on the two round edges of the "H" bracket to get a perfect alignment. Not such a big deal for me though, performance wise is impressive, E8400@4.00 clock speed running on 1.36Vcore with idle temp of 32c and load temp via linx around 60c.

The H plate design u posted will definitely fit without problems if they do replace them, the one i have needs grinding though because its a 2 in 1 bracket (LGA775+AM2 combination).
