You have to grind the edge of the "H" steel bracket a little to get it fitted cause the mosfet heatsink is blockingThis post has been edited by kali65: Jun 1 2009, 02:02 AM

QUOTE(lurk3r69 @ Jun 1 2009, 11:34 AM) are u very sure of this? i tot this happens to ud3r only? altho i know ud3r n ud3p boards r similar....but i've read some say no problems wif ud3p? just wanna confirm. thanks i happen to use deepcool killer whale on Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, when i align the "H" bracket to the 4 point mounting holes during installation i found out that the mosfet heatsink is blocking approx. 0.4mm, so i grind off approx. 0.4mm on the two round edges of the "H" bracket to get a perfect alignment. Not such a big deal for me though, performance wise is impressive, E8400@4.00 clock speed running on 1.36Vcore with idle temp of 32c and load temp via linx around 60c. |
