I agree with String. Prepare well if you're gonna be pwning phones for both iphones Edge and 3G and have both the iphone 2.0.1 firmwares, the bootloader + guides ready as fw 2.0.2 are not advisable due to bugs etc.

And with winpwn 2.5 releasing in 6hrs time, it should be a breeze in helping others upgrade their firmware.

Head on to Fw 2.1. Fw 2.0.1 is alrite but would recommend Fw 2.1.

I'm using 2G with Fw 2.1. All good mate. Fw 2.1 is for both 2G and 3G iPhones. Most users here with 2G are on Fw 2.1 and 3G iphone owners.

Why don't you just upgrade to Fw 2.1? Is all good. Don't worry. There's still abit of lag in opening sms but much better than Fw 2.0.1.

If you prefer Fw 2.0.1, proceed but our suggestions or recommendation is Fw 2.1 for the current firmware.

You can cuba try test Fw 2.0.1 and if you don't like, then Fw 2.1.

If you're not sure at all, read up or ask some friends who are currently on fw 2.1.

If any of you have not met or do not know anyone, ask for phone numbers. Pm those who are going for their number or pm the oganiser himself.

Just a suggestion.

For the person who is organising the TT, maybe do up a simple foldable card (don't have to be big) and put on the table stating:

"2G/3G TT" or "LYN TT"

This will help everyone who is attending the TT session to lookout for it.

Do suggest you ideas too.
