I am more concern on how to calibrate it for general default orientation... not calibration on each apps like games... mine ada senget sikit lah but from google, most of iphone (especially 1st gen) have this prob... I dun have i3g but to hear comment bout accmeter is a good lesson tho.... Chears!

Hi yique,

Congrats on your newly purchased 3G iPhone.

Btw, what's your current firmware? fw 2.0.0, fw 2.0.1 or 2.0.2?

Current 3G iphone users don't have such problems as many are enjoying thier iPhones.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Trying upgrading your firmware if have not updated yet.

mine's 2.0.. will explore this fw version first before i upgrade to 2.0.2. About the accmeter in 3g unit, GENERALLY THE BUILT IN ACCMETER WORKS FINE, NO COMPLAINT.... I HAVE NO REGRET BUYING even though i noticed it's slightly less sensitive than my 1st gen iphone. probably my new phone needs "tune-in". 3g version is a better unit than the 2g version thumbup.gif i am impressed with the new appstore, unlike cydia/installer. will try monkey ball n crash bandicoot. can i use my malaysia itunes acc to purchase these games?

Fw 2.0 is buggy as many here have used it. Even tho it may be ok but most of us would advise that you upgrade to 2.01 or 2.0.2.

Also, please try not to use "Caps" if you can. Preferably not using it at all.

Appstore is indeed great and you can use Malaysia iTunes acc to purchase your apps. Sadly, some apps will not available for purchase and only solely for US iTunes acc.

For us who have Cydia 2 and Installer 4, we get to use 3rd parties apps like winterboard which is totally amazing, bossprefs, Cycorder, MxTube etc which you will not have as your phone is not jailbroken. Kinda cool to have Appstore plus both Cydia 2 and Installer 4.

Cheers
