Anyone know where in KL I can get my 1st gen iphone fixed? The screen/phone works perfectly, but I just have dents and scratches all around the bezel, aluminum and black cover -- not a pretty site. Superficially, it needs fixing.
If you can fix it, how much do you charge? please PM me or leave a message here, thanks.

I can get the parts from ebay, my only problem is opening up the phone -- i saw some diagrams and it looks quite complicated, so I'm kind of afraid to do the job. If you or someone has the experience to fix the iphone, please let me know, and I'll be willing to pay for it.
Thanks.

besides, just to let you know... by doing that disassembly, they will not guarantee the success rate and prone to more problems in future. so, are you ready to take a risk like that?

The thing is its only the back covers and the silver bezel that needs changing, so I don't think it would be as complex as say, changing the whole touch screen.
So yes, I'll be willing to take the risk.

I would do it for my own iPhone, but will not take repair for others, it's too much risk for me to take, can't afford to replace an iPhone. I would say, good luck. You can try contacting my buddy Alvin: alvin.fkm(at)gmail(dot)com

Perhaps I should get another case -- I'm currently using those slide-in-slide-out cases, my iphone just happened to slide OUT...stupidity on my part because I thought there was enough friction to keep it in.

I can sell you a set of tools to DIY yourself. Original back case n chrome ring are not cheap, maybe you can custom it n spray in colors, just a thought.
