Not that I wanna pour cold water but whether its looking for a bf/gf, I think one should start looking seriously before you get to 25 if you are considering to get married and having kids. Thats because someone you love doesnt mean he/she suite you in the longer run. Chinese got a saying, getting together is easy, living together is hard. You will need a few years to really understand your partnet completely enough to convince that he/she is the one.

Anyway, you are still only 18 and there's a couple more years before you should start worrying about getting a soulmate. When I was at your age, I was quite alone as well, because most of my buddies having a gal tagging along. Maybe I miss the chance of the lifetime to screw up a few virgins (joking) but I never regret the kind of life I was having few years back. Free and easy. You can find new friends, tag along and have funs.
