For further lapping info,
1) I used to read in the forum that ask to use 1000, then follow by 1500 then finally 2000. But i only use sandpaper with grit 2000 only in order to be on the safe side and change the sandpaper after every 15min after lapping as the sandpaper starting to degrade and smoothen. I lapped it for 1.5hrs with changing of 6pcs sandpaper. Lap until hand muscle also pain.
2) Sorry as I am currently busy with my work at out station. Will try to do the comparison if posible.
Have fun experimenting
PS: Make sure to lap it on a flat surface like table with glass and also during lapping add some water with soap on the sand paper for lubricant.
