QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Aug 28 2008, 12:33 PM) imo i think the temp difference wont be much. from the sunbeam website, the tuniq 120 lost by 3-6c. but if you wanna give HDT a try then i think its worth it. for me, i think the bundle and performance is worth the price nope im from tuniq tower 120 to this cooler and with this cooler i can oc to 3.66 stable with 9450 at same temperature as tuniq at 3.4ghz... my idle now with this quad core 50-53c while if on tuniq my idle will be 65-67 on load 66-68c ccf, but tuniq is reaching 80++ and both are using same fan and same bracket mounting fm123 silverstone fan tuniq x clamp mounting

QUOTE(Sanko @ Aug 29 2008, 07:43 PM) hrmm... any kind soul willing to borrow us this great CPU cooler to compare with Deepcool KillerWHALE? even better if got thermalright ultra-120 extreme. kaiser: judging from your statement, the Deepcool KillerWHALE and this Core-Contact Freezer should fare in a close fight. sup3rfly tested it with his QX9770@3.6G, 1.328v and got 64 degrees running orthos. room ambient was at around 24 degrees. it will be very interesting to put these 2 famous CPU Cooler against Deepcool KillerWHALE in a roundup. yea actually i supposed to borrow my unit to coolice for him to do review but then since i already bolt mounted by using tuniq tower bracket and its such a pain to remove it out,i decline the offer from coolice...frankly i also curious to know deepcool performance since coolice did told me that deepcool pawned the archilles quite good..

QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Mar 1 2009, 03:42 AM) u mean the ori CCF or the 92mm version CCF? the ori ccf ler, havent got my hand on the 92mm version, but my ori ccf also was using quite a good focus flow high cfm fan but still core i7 just a monster to beat, and for ccf92 more or less we could have guess it where it stand slightly below the ori ccf based on goldfries review, and i just wondering why goldfries never include the comparison of both ccf in oc condition plus with fan..
