Final Result

CONCLUSION
First of all, Achilles fan rated at 60cfm (1500rpm), compared to CCF which is 90cfm(2000rpm). Still, the result is quite closed with the gap that is not more than 2c. IMHO, CCF beat Achilles at higher vcore and clockspeed is because of the fan cfm. What if Achilles fan runs at 90cfm? whistling.gif What i like most is the item bundled, full tube of Tuniq TX-2, compared to Achilles bundled TIM, which I dont recognize the brand, and Tuniq Tower, which comes with Tuniq TX-1.
After all,CCF is indeed have a very good price/performance ratio.. it perform great as claimed by various review.
Build quality wise, all of them is good smile.gif . What should be noted here that, installing CCF on AMD took less than 5 minutes rclxms.gif
But removing it took me NO less than 20 minutes.

PROS
-Comes with TX-2.. whistling.gif
-Great Performance at low price
-Integrated clip. Advantageous for AMD (easy to hold when clipping at the bracket)
-Shortest among the three cooler
-Easily installed

CONS
-The hardest cooler to remove. (you wont mind, really nod.gif )
-Its fat, its looks is not too catchy. (Black fan should be replaced with some bling2 to catch buyer eyes tongue.gif )

By The Way, whos this person after me who reserved the post? doh.gif

To TKH and all,i want to see some of these data:
Scaling to cfm(70,120 and 180cfm or something like that)
Scaling to vcore(Temp difference between vcore,say .05 increment,1.25v-1.5v) thumbup.gif
*
cfm scaling may be hard abit, but if according to fan speed, it is possible..
and yes, scaling vcore, but through difference clockspeed..thats what im gonna do.. biggrin.gif

alive88, wonder if you can do a review of the achilles using the ccf's fan? 2000rpm vs 2000rpm and see which performs better at load?
*
ill try to do that when my fren would let me borrow his achilles laugh.gif
but no doubt that it will perform as good or maybe even better than CCF

for now it is better..but i would like to try achilles on 90cfm fan.want to know will it make lots of difference or not, coz now achilles just get beaten by mere 1-2c only, plus its with 60cfm fan.intel is indeed a different story here.. laugh.gif

This might change my option on which HSF to buy tongue.gif. Looking foward for it bro.

If the different not much... I'll go for CCF since price/performance ratio is better. Achilles + SS kit + Tuniq TX2 + 90cfm fan --> cost more than just the CCF package =/
*
the difference wont be significant..just on par or even +-2c between the 2 cooler.. i mite say that u may proceed buying CCF, really best bang for buck

u mean TOP as if on top of the casing? if it is,i think maybe there wont be any problem as long the fan location doesnt block the hsf.. just to ensure that ur fan is not real big..u should post the pic of ur pc first. or maybe u can take out ur exhaust fan, and put it somewhere else.. CM690 user, please enlighten him
