A massive problem when it comes to playing. I think my A string is rubbing against the bridge so it is always the first to snap. I only replaced the string about 2 weeks ago. It already happened 2 times. I'm not sure what to do as I'm still new to these sort of problems, hopefully there's someone here that can help shed some light on this. I've posted a couple of pictures below to show how it looks like snapped and the level of the bridge.
Really urgent, as I gotta use the guitar almost every week so I can't have it snapping every 2 weeks. PS: Is it alright if I tighten the springs completely until the bridge touches the body if I'm not going to use it? Cause I rarely use it and sometimes it just screws up my tuning really badly. Thanks so much. This post has been edited by Windsilver: Aug 25 2008, 11:23 PM

I bought the guitar from a previous owner, so I'm not too sure why its so high either. I'll lower the saddle and then give it another go.If it still snaps then I guess I'm getting a whole new set of saddles.
Anyone has any idea how much does one set cost?
I can buy from either mahogany or harmony music at TTDI.
Another problem I forgot to mention. There's a light buzzing from time to time. I'm pretty sure the strings are high enough already, is there another factor to the buzzing?
Thanks for all your time.
