here to ask u guys, my car drive sharf got problem.
have to change new one or used..
the shop found me ori proton RM380 but no warranty.after install test no problem then go.
besides,taiwan made is RM280 with 3month warranty and Kedai potong R<280 with 1weeks warranty.
may i know which u guys prefer?pls help with ur opinion or experiance

my car already 6years.no worth repair or server in proton service central.
kedai potong one is japanese one, problem is dunno can last longer o not.
i also dunno y the plp said got taiwan made, cos v are local car le.
i hv when some other work shop they also say got taiwan made.
so,anybody can help me chose?

This morning blast my speed@rempit at NKVE, but not getting much. Only 175km/h 

it is normal for auto to get 175km/h

i just change battery..but lately i feel the performance is reduce...like not pickup and engine is loud ...any idea to fix this problem...please help meee

just drove back from kuantan today...while going downhill at kl-karak highway..n i think just hit the limit of my waja handling(so called lotus handling)when doing the cilok2(wif xtra careful)...the tyre screech many times n a little bit understeer but not too much...i can't do more than that...have u ever push your car to the limits??when and how?...

now i think i want to feel oversteer after this..Gokart maybe the answer!!!

It's normal if you change to 17". When i was using all stock, can go up to 215Kmh =). Manual can go up to 230 =)

Added on December 22, 2008, 1:19 pmUndersteer is when not enuf power, to oversteer using a FF is abit tricky. I'm giving up my 17" BSA for ori 16" with Potenza G3 215/16/55   Estimate damage $700. Giving up my lowered spring for compacted ori spring. Lowered height but comfort is still there.

Get ori sping and compressed it at factory to make it lowered. My friend did it with his satria 10 yrs ago..

Woo same year as my waja.But why your gearbox so fast kong liao.Mine not so smooth in gear change especially when wanna engage 2nd gear from 3rd.Always very hard to push it in.

Other than that,its still working fine "touch wood".

By the way,how much was the whole engine conversion including labour and the fees

gosh! i just inherit a 4 years old waja auto with 48k mileage from an old man   
i assumed yours is auto tranny then...    the trouble with auto tranny is; unlike the manual version,
if the problem occured, you may have to replace the whole unit which will cost quite a lot. the new auto tranny from proton will easily cost over 5k  while the recond unit outside cost under 3.8k.

btw, does your car alread cover 200k km mileage? 
to prolonged the auto tranny lifespan, consider installing an ATF cooler. i work wonders even on those prone to heat perdana auto tranny.
depending on the setting. but most sports suspension are made so that the car can handle sharp corner at highest possible speed. so, there is a sacrifice in term of ride comfort. coupled with low profile tyres.....here you go horse riding in our bumpy road

manual got such izzue?

manual of course less problem lor.... if the gear doesn't engage, just ask the mechanic to open up the gearbox, change the faulty gear    + labour cost still way too cheap compare to auto tranny.
my other wira se gsrt manual doesn't have any issue up to now. except that she is complaining i ditched her for a more comfy ride in a stock waja

well...i mean my old gsrt maybe complaining i don't drive her as much since i acquire the waja. 
but i've had something in mind    swapping the engine
and go for tiptronic tranny on waja; hence the reason i choose a 2nd hand auto version.
i've seen a mivec mated to tiptronic but not on gsrt yet..... seem like another complete ecu reprogramming, welding,
suspension, brakes and bars works 

my existing wira se is already modded with 4g93t inside. hence the wira gsrt.  was planning to swap the existing 4g18 on the waja to my wira and vice versa. perhaps the 4 pot brembo on the front as well. and some coffee...lolz.

how about the tiptronic tranny alone? any chances of 'em selling it separately?
