Any takers for my Autoflip side mirror with LED indicator?

Just sent my car to check .. the gearbox got problem ... and this is going to cost a bomb to fix ... haihzz... very disappointed with the car already .. this year alone don't know how many problems arised

7 years already .... For a proton that age .. i think i have to bear with it bah ..

those mirror same with stock mirror izzit? or hav to find else where if got broken?

Slightly wider vertically, broken can always go to Proreka to get replacement mirror

i want to ask about sport spring. how much it cost and does it really uncomfortable to drive?

Woo same year as my waja.But why your gearbox so fast kong liao.Mine not so smooth in gear change especially when wanna engage 2nd gear from 3rd.Always very hard to push it in.

Other than that,its still working fine "touch wood".

By the way,how much was the whole engine conversion including labour and the fees

Depends on what engine you're getting. For example 4G92 will cost you approximately RM11K before trade in your old engine+ECU+wiring. You can get it done around RM8K if getting cheaper exhaust system and running change of old parts.

gosh! i just inherit a 4 years old waja auto with 48k mileage from an old man
i assumed yours is auto tranny then... the trouble with auto tranny is; unlike the manual version,
if the problem occured, you may have to replace the whole unit which will cost quite a lot. the new auto tranny from proton will easily cost over 5k while the recond unit outside cost under 3.8k.

btw, does your car alread cover 200k km mileage?
to prolonged the auto tranny lifespan, consider installing an ATF cooler. i work wonders even on those prone to heat perdana auto tranny.

depending on the setting. but most sports suspension are made so that the car can handle sharp corner at highest possible speed. so, there is a sacrifice in term of ride comfort. coupled with low profile tyres.....here you go horse riding in our bumpy road

change your ATF fluid every 20K km should be good enough, unless you're redlining at every traffic light. 1 of my friend feel his car auto box lazy to shift gear after installing the ATF cooler, i dunno whether it's due to the ATF cooler or else.

no worry about the MT box.

manual of course less problem lor.... if the gear doesn't engage, just ask the mechanic to open up the gearbox, change the faulty gear + labour cost still way too cheap compare to auto tranny.
my other wira se gsrt manual doesn't have any issue up to now. except that she is complaining i ditched her for a more comfy ride in a stock waja
