Received your 875 already? When I like both speakers, my ears can't help to decide, I always go back to the specs sheet. Look at the frequency response range, power, driver size, etc. The the colour, design etc. Go for the RS6! I own a Monitor Audio, so that is my biased vote. I would even go for BR6 over the MS.

His problem here, he likes the sound of both speakers. So this bits and pieces of info can help him decide. Then, let's see which of our poison is the deadliest. For Monitor Audio Silver Series (RS), you can go audit at Audiophiles Collection (Rave Audio) at CIty Square.

To me MA is a better bet. But thats my view, important is your own ears and your preference's. You take your own CD and Audition them again. Best of luck. You got a onkyo-txsr875, Nice This post has been edited by gsdev: Aug 24 2008, 09:53 PM

Well at that price, depends on your taste, if u want laid back and yet wide soundstage, give an audition to AAD silver reference 1. Make sure you listen to the Reference series (not the C-series).
It comes with Piano finish. place Acoustic Lim at Amcorp mall.

Did you guys even read the first post, he already audit the speaker, and narrowed to those two. He likes both, so now he's asking our opinions to choose. So it's not about how it sounds anymore. Now he has to consider about the look, color, specs, warranty, brand reputations, etc. Let's give your input (or poison).
