im sry if opening a new topic like this is unnecessary but i've no idea whr to post this nd i'm kinda desperate...

i've recently decided to get a Wii and plan to get one frm the States or Hongkong. Howeva i'm not sure whether the versions sold der r compatible wit the accesories nd games sold here as i'm not familiar with gaming consoles.
1stly - r all versions of wii sold in m'sia nd the above 2 countries same? Meaning compatibilty in every aspect is guaranteed such as wii on9, the games etcetc?
-is der international warranty for the wii?
-is the bundle package similar to that of m'sia's?
-wat else is der to buy dat is necessary but out of the bundle?
i guess dats all i nid to knw.Any advice given wud be much appreciated =D

1. If your either going to get it from the States or Hong Kong. Might as well get from the states. Most of the game shops in Malaysia only carry US regioned game. Unless your going to mod you Wii. Then thats another story. As for compatibility. You would just need a step-down convertor for the console.

2. Not sure about this one. But i think it does

3. The bundles are same in all regions are the same i think. Except for Japan one. It doesnt have Wii Sport bundled.

4. Entirely optional. But i guesss extra controllers.

regardless how desperate you are, read HERE 1st. Do a little research, b4 wanting answers from ppl you don't know well.

thx alot for the info. but i thought its either US, Jap or Aus coded versions available for sale worldwide? I assumed the version for sale in Hongkong is the US one. Regarding the case of modding it, it doesnt matter which region i buy it frm? OHh. even if i buy it here in m'sia, i wud still nid a step-down convertor? once again i really appreciated ur opinions nd time =)
