Coming from my background, I can only suggest what I know best.

Consider organising a nature trip to one of the more outback nature parks in Malaysia. Endau Rompin or even Tasik Banding. Forget about the over commercialized Taman Negara.

Alternatively, organise an amazing race (inter-colleges). Around the city center.
Fund raising for a charity home.
