Bootneuter can be deleted, cause its been used only once. Yes, resize to 500MB or more.

I'm curious, is the firmware 2.0.2 relatively behave the same as 2.0.1 or you can actually feel that it's slightly.. I mean slightly polish?

I have to admit it, right from 2.0 it's been a disaster to use the keyboard. Apps occasionally crash and lag.
I'm on 2.0.1 right now with custom firmware built by WinPwn, can I just hit the Update button on iTunes and update my iPhone to 2.0.2? I'm aware that I'll loose my apps. |

Finally updated to 2.0.2 thru iTunes, keyboard lag is decreasing and apps launch and close smoothly, it's also responsive.

Remember my case, from pawned 2.0.1 firmware updated to fresh 2.0.2 firmware to my iPhone. Weird thing happened, I can browse using Safari but I can't use YouTube, Stocks, Maps, Weather, iTunes Store, and App Store. Anyone wonder why this happen?

Got it fixed, it's my router. sigh!
Anyway, the DFU mode in WinPwn 2.5 is not helping the scenario at all.. at least for me. I'm stuck at the process where WinPwn is preparing my phone to accept custom firmware files. It takes so long and I had to forced quit the WinPwn. Now what should I do? Restart the whole process? Got Error (6) while trying to restore with iTunes. I followed the process into DFU mode shown by WinPwn on screen, and then it goes to the 'preparing iPhone to accept custom firmwares'. I forced quit the app and re-run the process.
Now it's fine, actually 2.0.2 works well with some of the 2G iPhone. Mine are working fine so far. Jermaine, if you're using official carriers... you can just hit Update or Restore on iTunes everytime new firmware comes out. Unlike us, we need Dev Team to break free our iPhone from tied and locked. If firmware 2.1 is out by tomorrow.. it takes at least 3-4 weeks for the team to prepare the app and firmware to be ready on locked phones. |
