This proc inside Sugo ? Wow, must b either sensor spoilt or ur contact with the hsf not so good. What cooler u using now ?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
P45 JR oc not the same as ur gigabyte ? should b quite similar i guess, only asus is abit different.
efilah: wat rams r u using ? So far, ur oc seems very good, just a little more push and u'll reach the 4ghz mark. temp is good too. icon_rolleyes.gif

hehe thanx jy14 smile.gif the temps are good? nice to hear that.i thought the temps a bit crazy sweat.gif btw, im using corsair xms2 dhx pc-6400 4GB kit.

before this,i use older real temp version, and they do give very different reading from core temp. i think maybe bcoz of TJ Max.not sure.

but now,i download the latest version for both software already. real temp 3.07. core temp 0.99.4.huhu.

for ram,i hope i can have one dominator kit lol. =x

hey guys.
The pic below showing my rig's OC atm.

user posted image

the problem is i cant seem to get my proc higher than 3.6GHz (425x8.5). The highest i reach before is 450x8.5 = 3.8GHz using 2x2GB 800MHz RAM. now i upgraded to 2x2GB 1006MHz. but the RAM cant even reach 900MHz. =.=" i tried using proc's stock speed (333x8.5) and set ram multiplier to 333/1066 get it to 1066MHz.but then it didnt even post lol.

i already sent for replacement n got new one. but the prob is still the same. i checked already my RAM that it does support my mobo. what seems to be the main probs here? mobo? ram?

ps - the setting i get now is the best i can get atm.huhu.when i tried to increase the fsb a little, BSOD attacked while loading windows.hoho.

Any comments and solution is highly appreciated.thanks smile.gif

of course.i put it 5-5-5-15.i actually dont know what else should i tweak with the ram except the frequency speed n timing.i already set the voltage to 2.1v as stated by the manual.should actually be no problem reaching 1066MHz with the voltage.but cannot instead.aiseh.huhu

for Performance Level, right now i put 10.seems to be stable.but when OC more, even at 12 also cannot..

and for the tRFC, i havent change anything yet. but im not sure which option is the tRFC.

nice one there..  smile.gif never though enabling t2 dispatch would make your ram unstable at high frequency(means @your RAM rated frequency)...
i saw ppl oc their RAM without disabling the t2 dispatch and they can reach as high as 1200MHz on DFI mobos.. missed out that facts...
seems that it didnt work well with your RAM....
Is it becoz you r using 4GB (2X2GB) RAM?...
could u try experimenting using 2GB? and see if u could clock it higher with T2 dispatch enabled...
*
ooh really? ic..yeah maybe. i googled for the overcolcking guide for dfi mobo.most of them disabled it.huhu.but at the moment, i didnt have any 2x1GB ram..
anyway, gonna try for higher fsb now for my Q9550 since ram is not an issue now.hehe.will post here if ever i got highest one i can achieve.

I think changing your mobo is just unnecessary.... your mobo has sufficient overclocking options... if u clock it right.. with proper fsb:ram ratio... reaching the 4GHz on your mobo isn't a myth...
*
actually bro, that mobo is not very good for overclocking. i heard other users of that mobo also complain about OC tongue.gif i had one before.so hard to reach 400MHz even for E8400 sweat.gif of course overclocking option is sufficient but the capability isn't. or maybe because im just noob in OC haha laugh.gif doh.gif In the end i changed to P45 mobo which is as stated in my signature.
