anyone using Q9300?
my cheap mobo limits to 400fsb.. more than that not quite stable..
can't see true proc potential..

haha my TP i45 sold edy.. now using G31.. quite ok though..
due to lower multiplier can't push much.. |

need more fsb.. but luckily on 3ghz.. performance wise like 3.8ghz dual core..
so no much less.. instead got additional 2cores and extra cache.. very smooth.. should on par with stock Q9550-Q9650 huhu.. |

i'm still play with the ram timing..
hopefully can give some benchmark after stabilize it.. the gpu not affect the benchmark? will try after install vantage.. Added on May 22, 2009, 12:04 pmhaha -pWs- should knows better... This post has been edited by 8tvt: May 22 2009, 12:04 PM |

no time to tweak.. even the ram also not tight yet..
too sad guess it enough.. so can use less vcore.. playing H.A.W.K.. loading just a breeze.. i saw i7 965 @3.6ghz cpu score is lower.. weird.. but more on par to 4870 score.. http://www.guru3d.com/article/overclocking...adeon-hd-4770/7 |

what voltage u supplied for 3ghz?
i think if tight the ram would be ok.. me also in cl5.. 2.1v but hard though for 2gb stick.. |

quite alot vdrop/vdroop..
i thought my mobo only like that.. set 1.3v @ bios - 1.25v @ windows.. thought because of bios limitation.. will try lower it down if not facing any throttling/stuttering speed.. if ok.. i'll enabling the EIST/speedstep to make it more efficient.. |

no vantage score..
i can see Q6600 extra cache will take advantage if the core speed is high.. but the power supplied also increase.. |

i think the result sure be around 11k.. if 3ghz..
last night tight the ram abit increase from 11.4k to 11.6k to 11.8k for cpu score in vantage.. doing on the stock vcore now.. lazy prime so long.. ![]() after the result on the cheapo mobo.. i think better spend extra RM200-300 for a better cpu instead of buying expensive board.. mild oc on ES2L up to 400fsb.. quite ok already.. high cpu mul should do good.. |

yes quite surprised with it..
if only can try beyond 450fsb.. i think 3.5g is no sweat.. the idle temp should be 63/57/58/57.. open the core temp right after priming.. so no record @ idle.. this board rated 1600fsb on OC.. so cannot hope much.. the proc more likely as double E7200... |

yes² weird core 0 others are lower
but i wonder on E7200 idle <40C not seems right.. 50C on idle should acceptable.. you can play with advance ram timings n add fsb voltage.. Added on May 27, 2009, 9:21 amstop play² with ram timing at the moment.. ![]() This post has been edited by 8tvt: May 27 2009, 09:21 AM |
