I've finally managed to hit 4.07Ghz prime stable on my Q9550, but my Vcore is around 1.37, is that considered high?

QUOTE(nidzamputra @ Mar 1 2010, 06:15 PM) depends on individual.some might prefer 8 hours prime while others let it run for 1 hour and satisfied with it. btw on LinX,try to use all of the ram available and then run the test.772mb just doesnt cut it. run ur windows in diagnostic mode and u can use up to 97% of ur available ram to stress the cpu. |

eh... how come i never bumb into this tread until now... wth man
btw what u use to cool ur 9550 ? mine goes to 75'c on stock frequency... cant even push at all currently im using Hyper212+ to chill my 9550 in a non air conditioned room with ambient temp ranging from 31-36'c anyone has 9550 air cooled and not in air conditioned room ? Added on March 16, 2010, 10:39 am QUOTE(nidzamputra @ Mar 1 2010, 09:48 PM) wow... u sure got guts to push it above 85'ci head the temp threshold for proc is 90'c is it true ar ? i dont dare to experiment with it since my 9550 is lapped and no warranty @_@ This post has been edited by general_odin: Mar 16 2010, 10:39 AM |
