i use v8 before, not so great bout its performance. better go for megashadow. pretty sure 1156 can use liao.
ask asamkipas or piumiu. both already use on GD65 mobo i think.

it seem same as ximgtek cooler , what great about it

megashadow is the best of the best! google,wiki,anything oso show megashadow/megahalem is the best (except IFX14 ).

but didnt come with fan, fan is optional. trust me, megashadow is the best!

with v8 price u will regret the performance later..
i chose noctua.. haha..

Right now I'm using a q9550 clocked at 3.4 Ghz with Xigmatek cooler at stock voltages - I'm getting around 65 C at load temps.

I'm using standard Kingston DDR2-800 at 1:1 ratio 400fsb.

Do u think it's worth it to get higher frequency ram and push my processor to higher clocks?? Will my cooler be able to handle it or should I need to change it too?? Thanks all...

Which model of Xigmatek? I'm running 400FSB at 1.175v for my q9450@3.2Ghz and 1.05v for stock speed using Asus P5Q Deluxe. Lower voltage is cooler. Maybe you can try that first.

Run OCCT, 1 min + will come out error on either core 0 or 1

No problems for me at 3.2Ghz@1.175v for Q9450. My chipset usually idles around 35-38C. It only goes 40C on hot weather. I only messed around with processor bus speed, CPU voltage and set the RAM to my Corsair specified setting which is 1066mhz@2.1v 5-5-5-15. The rest is auto.

Maybe it's your motherboard.

some mobo need more nb..
maybe just me coz need around 427 to reach 3.2ghz..

T_T failed lol, but i can play COD WF 2 without problem, but when run OCCT, it show core 0 and core 1 error lol

erm any stable oc more for q9550?

I'm screwing around with DFI Lanparty JR P45-TS2R and seems like this motherboard requires more voltage to overclock. The chipset is hotter than Asus P5Q Deluxe and I have to slap a Evercool 40mm fan on it to help with the cooling. I've checked other websites that you need 1.45-1.55v for the northbridge to achieve 1600mhz or higher FSB. Still testing for optimal settings.

eh guys..what the max vtt and vmch we can run for 24/7 setup?

this ive been tweak for few days..still blend it..perhaps it will pass and stable..i jus wonder how much the vtt and vmch we can set for running 24/7

Ouch. 70C is hot. Try lowering your voltage and clock or upgrade your heatsink. I'm targetting max temperature of 60C for mine.

izzit too hot ah?coz tried to refer on XS oso the temp 70C for 4ghz normal one..unless on WC then can help to decrease the temp..im on air cooling..dont think 4ghz can get load temp below 60C on air if got i may ask his secret recepi

4ghz n quad should ok.. even my c2d can reach 90c lol
