Sorry for my noobness,
I want to know what is the difference between
OFFICIAL UNLOCKED 3G iPhone and 'Self" Unlock 3G iPhone?

What is they way they use to unlock those OFFICIAL UNLOCKED iPhone?

and How are we going to unlock a 3G iPhone ourself?

What is a TurboSim?

What is the risk we will face? What is the common problems will occur during unlocking process?

Thanks for your guide.

To the people who are opposed to us treated NOOBS as we are now,

THIS thread is an example of the questions WE HAVE to answer to EVERY SINGLE DAY, while you take a narrow-minded look at how we treat these newbies. People have finite patience.

To the TS,

iPhones are almost always locked. You can unlock them using software unlockings (iLiberty, ZiPhone, Pwnage Tool, WinPwn, Quickpwn) or hardware unlocks using sim-unlocking or sim-duping methods(HyperSIM, TurboSIM, etc).

HArdware unlocks are not advisable by the simple fact that you are fooling your sim into thinking it is a simcard of an officially supported iPhone. In doing so, you can run into problems of dropped calls, data services not working properly, or worse, getting your carriers here (DiGi, Maxis, or Celcom) detecting that you are using this method and terminate and blacklist you from using their services again, since this practice is against the Terms and Condition you signed when you wanted to subscribe to them.

Paham!!?

Since hardware unlock is not advisable, then those software unlock as you mentioned can unlock 3G iPhone?
Cause, i heard some of them said that 3G iPhone can only unlock with TurboSim.

Btw, where can i get TurboSim.

Thx for your patience^^ oh ya...you get bored with your NZ iPhone edy? When you want to sell your baby? hahaha...

Oh my God! doh.gif

My patience-meter have depleted already, somebody take over!

WE dont talk about hardware unlocks here, because none of us are fond of using them. Ask your LYN seller there in GarageSales section if you want them, since they are selling them with these unlocking scheme.

There are no software unlocks for iPhone 3G yet. Please refer to the FAQs up there, or the PLEASE READ THIS FIRST for NEWBIES thread on this forum before asking any more temper-inducing questions. Or before my head explodes.

I found out that a COMMON symptom most NEWBIES have, that they NEVER want to see those PINNED threads, which make most of the users here 'vomit blood' !

I believe most of us can only show user posted image to all newbies that asking really NOOB Qs.

Hi Coner32..

I see your name in garage sales to buy 2 16G 3G iphone. Please do lots of research or PM any members to ask.
U know there's locked and "unlocked" version of Aifontriji and u hv to be careful. Using TurboSim wont
solve any problem on locked Aifontriji and it would create more problem!!

My advice to you is do google on how Aifontriji is sold and learn bout it especially on the unlocked version if
thats what ure looking at. If seller is selling it with TurboSim then u know its not an unlocked version.

Now i think its best u closed this thread...and good luck in hunting for your Aifontriji thumbup.gif
