QUOTE(IcedNyior @ Aug 23 2008, 09:46 AM) welcome to the thread I bought it at sec 17 pet shope, dont remember the name erm, since u're new, please take our advice : dont put male and female together unless u're prepared to take care of their offspring. syrians should be housed seperately. your wheel looks a bit small for a syrian also. but ur cheese thingy is cute. where did u get it? I too want to experience how its like to have a hamster newborn P/s theres a vid where they share the wheels |

QUOTE(Jamien @ Aug 24 2008, 09:36 PM) It's actually very simple. They sleep together because it is cold and huddling together is warmer. And they fight because they're syrians and they don't like each other. Syrians are solitary by nature. Just because they sleep together doesn't mean they need or want to be with each other. If there were other places your syrians could go, they would not be together but you force them to be together when you house them together. it's a shop in sec 17.When my mom says want to buy 1 pair she doesnt say anything. So i ask her is it ok to house 1 pair syrians, then she nod nod.To avoid injury and possibly death, please separate your syrians soon. |

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Sep 9 2008, 12:08 PM) Only put together IF you want the syrians to have babies. But you have to do lots of preparations for the babies. Sounds like got many work to do.I think i'll just pass You have to separate when the female is pregnant and she will be very defensive against the male. Blah Blah Blah... Lots of work and effort is required. Are you READY for breeding syrians? Please consider and research first properly before considering breeding hamsters. |
