The blood stain on Ben's nose was gone when i double check juz now. I think shud be some minor scratches and it's already healed...hopefully.

BTW, I juz finished my chippsi bedding, looking for alternatives now. Woody pet and BC.... can't make up my mind. I read some LYNer posted woody pet will bcome dust when it got wet. Please gimme some idea how long this 2 can last. My current wood shaving can last bout 2 weeks with my robos litter trained. Wonder how long can the other 2 last.

^ Syrians can also become bitey, cuz only tame hamsters don't bite. Ferro was bitry as well when he came. He striked first and looked later. Now he is tame, he doesn't bite anymore. Ferro was bought from a petshop. Now he's a darling.

Like they already said, if you bought from pet shops you must be ready to put up with the biting, timidness, etc. Coz they are not used to human touch.

Although I read that RCs are more prone to biting..

Syrians are just bigger thats why they are easier to hold. Though syrian bites are said to be worse than dwarf hamsters as their teeth are bigger. What happens if you get a syrian that is just as bitey as your current RC?

Are your RCs ctive t night? My syrians start waking up at about 10.30 pm. Are active by 12.
