Hi everyone i got a question here, i got 2 hamster which are Winter White. They both live in a cage 2 months ago, i had bought a new cage and they are inside without problem, but last week i change back to the old cage for 1 week and after that i put then into the new cage again, they starting to fight keep 1 of them keep attacking another one....may i know what happen cause before that 2 months they won't fight, and another one when i feed he like not really want to eat....why??

Thanks
*
from my experience, most winter white will start to fight starting from 2 months old.. even for siblings.. that's y i started separating them since 1 month old..

there are certain species that can live together like robos. but for syrians its not suggested that they live together. its in their nature to be solitary

Yes, for life. Don't worry, they will not get lonely. They prefer to live alone. The reason they fight is because they don't like to stay with each other. So why force them?

oh darn it...I bought another two to keep the one I have company...and I think the elder one is bullying the younger ones. The younger ones and turning and screaming...but I don't see the elder one biting or hitting at all. Can't tell what's going on rclxub.gif thankfully now they're all sleeping...I can rest a bit sweat.gif

I agree with ryo, its probably because the 1 that you already hv is bigger and frightens the other two. Guess u hv to buy more tanks/cages then.

Yours are WW rite aeon?

off topic: are scorpions easy to take care off ryo?
