my boy which likes vitacraft but my girls like prestige, gosh..

I know. Just restock yesterday at petshack and bought some stuffs for Nezu's babies already RM170+. Some more next week Saturday need to get abit more stuffs.

You can try to mix the vitacraft and prestige and see if they like it or not. Currently am mixing prestige and harry hamster for all our hamsters and fat tail.

anyone here using Habitrail cage? I hear the quality of the cage is bad for its price. And some other things like the tower doesn't have proper ventilation?

What cages do you guys use? I'm just using a plastic container now...lol

Well habitrail tanks are not good for syrians. Could be use as temporary tanks though. Currently there are people who use 2 feet guppy tanks, storage boxes, glass aquariums, etc... What kind of hamsters do you have?

Those are syrians. Please, please, please know that Syrians can never be housed together.

They sleep together because they have no choice. Just because they sleep like that doesn't mean they're happy. Imagine a bunch of prisoners...sleep together but they don't like who they sleep with.

It's actually very simple. They sleep together because it is cold and huddling together is warmer. And they fight because they're syrians and they don't like each other. Syrians are solitary by nature. Just because they sleep together doesn't mean they need or want to be with each other. If there were other places your syrians could go, they would not be together but you force them to be together when you house them together.

To avoid injury and possibly death, please separate your syrians soon.

Just curious but who told you syrians can live together?

Well, as I mentioned earlier, cages, they can keep for a long time. Syrians, no one wants them when they get older so must clear off fast. They'd tell you anything to sell more so they don't rugi.

If you think properly, she isn't exactly lying. You asked her if they can be housed together. Petshops house them together. It can be done. But the syrians are not happy like that and are under a lot of stress when they're housed together. It frequently leads to fighting, injury, disease, death when housed together.

So can they be housed together? Why, yes. But if you want your syrians to survive, not get hurt and be happy and not kill each other, no you can't house them together.
