For a syrian recommended basic dosage is 1 teaspoon, very little. You can alwyas give more if the hamster can take it. Start slow first.

Can Cranberries be given to a winter white? I think it's too sweet for her
My mom bought some dried cranberries and I like sharing nutritious stuff with her. This post has been edited by Sophiera: Sep 9 2008, 05:46 PM |

Good, good.
And she stopped eating basil in front of me, only munching it when I am away. Weird little ham she is. Not only that she go and keep her hoarded food in plain sight...in between the sandbath. And near the wheel. Gila liao |

Zomg so cute! Sometimes I give bean frozen also. She likes cold things. Lick non stop.
Lately I have to liquefy it to mix the herb supplement...or else she will eat only the bell papper and avoid the herbs. Roche must be thinking "THIS IS SO COLD IT HURTS! *puts back" |

Yesh, they're so adorable and soft and so cute!
Jamien, your hams are fatsosos or Hun's or neither? Taming them...if it's either one of these two sure no problem in taming them. |

Even though from petshop, Ferro is so adorabhuls and looks very well groomed
Which have more inbreeding problems? Syrian or dwarfs? I noticed it's the dwarfs that tend to lose limbs... |

@Jamien
Yeah. It's a little bit sad to see her that way though. Nonetheless, still so fun to watch her eat XD @Jyen Oooh so that's the syrian from petshak. So prosh and tubby! No wonder my dad thought it's obese @Geo By the way, Geo I think yours is a rex mix. Wavy fur...but not completely wavy all over. |

It's a little bit red around the eyes though, and looks quite thin on coat. Otherwise they're all so so so cute :luv: |

QUOTE(Jamien @ Sep 9 2008, 11:10 PM) ^ Wah, I don't give any human processed food to my pets. not healthy and we don't know what's in it. Better not. Oh no, this one masak sendiri. It's only honey inside.Yay, another 3-limb hamster to join my club Any loss of limbs are bad la, but just jesting around so no offense ya? I think pure 100% white is rare. There are lots of whites with patterns and offwhites, but logically pures are usually rares. Usually, so don't fire me ok? This post has been edited by Sophiera: Sep 9 2008, 11:13 PM |

QUOTE(XiaoDan @ Sep 9 2008, 11:16 PM) Haha.. Sophiera like to let her hammy taste new food. But better dun take the risk lo.. Creamy sit when she sleep right? So cute.. Like Sleeping Buddha Pure whites are usually very rare, can always check online to see if it is or not. Even though not that rare, it will still be uncommonWe're talking about PURE whites, but a single blotch of discolouration on them. A lot seem to be white but not pure white. |
