yeah me too.. i still play everyday (the 2D version).. for me, CS is the pioneer @ kickstart era all of these FPS games..

I beg to differ. I think Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, or Maze War are more likely candidates as a pioneer to all FPS games.

sorry, i meant those that can play via online and/or as a team.. but true, those mentioned games were amongst the earliest FPS games.

CS is not dying in my college..
still got more than 40 ppl playing on lan..
but problem is most of them only prefer playing in small and rubbish map like fy_iceword, fy_dust, awp_map, blah blah blah..
everytime i create official match map like de_dust2 or inferno, nobody join..
haiya really sick playing RUSH!! CHARGE!!! then SPAM SPAM!!!

kids nowadays dun play CS (or whatever) the way we used to back then.. juz shoot2 amongst frens, who got d most kills, loser buys teh tarik.. no more like new teams/frens meetup n challenge during d wkends, participating contests, winner gets cash n upgrade their rig for better gameplay.. *sigh*

sigh...remember those days too man! everyday a 5v5 to improve on tactics n teamwork then every 1-2weeks a tourney to play and prove the hard work...damn it was awesome...but at least now we have the Pro-gamers Arena! WOOT

good what... still can practice. as long as you keep playing, there will be some sort of improvement. Just come my place la ken... we have friendly 5v5. XD
