Yeah that part is cringe worthy. Especially the other day when they had Sheska (Bookworm lady) and they said the FULLMETAL ALCHEMISTTT in that voice that sounded like someone screaming it before they "happen"... and then my parents who happen to be nearby wondered what I was watching....

On another note,
Did they cut out the entire mining town arc/chapter/part from Brotherhood ?
Won't they have like a little difficulty later on placing/explaining in the few characters from the mining town especially the one guy who actually helps them at a crucial moment later on as seen in the manga ??

Nono. Just searched it up. The Youswell Coal Mine ? The one where they turned the coal into gold and then back again ? And with the gold they rebought the coal mine back for the people from the corrupt government official ?

At this rate can the manga be completed before the anime catches up ?

Never watched FMA 1 but do they really have to go that fast to catch up with where the 1st one deviated from the manga ?

I mean come on, like the scene where Sig and Izumi found the broom in the alley, they had to throw in a character who looked like what their shop assistant Mason should look like out of nowhere and say "Oh, I saw someone with Ed's description over at the Devil's Nest"... So random... Slow down slow down... No rush...

But the fight scene was nice. Hope this continues into the next episode.

This episode was awesome. But they cut a lot of things from the manga. Hopefully from here on it would be almost exact with the comics. Prays...

Well I think a few pages back it was decided that everyone who visits this thread has already read the manga to the latest chapter but I do suggest to those who have yet to read the manga to go read it.

Because they are kinda rearranging things here and there, like how they introduce May Chang and Yoki, how Ed and Al aren't suppose to know about Hughes' death so early but it's all good especially for those who read the manga at least it differs a little and it's still nice to watch.

Yeah no Envy attacks.... But overall the EP19=best episode for me so far. Hopefully they show some of the Envy attacks at the start of the next episode.

Yeah and flame13th has kindly bumped the manga discussion thread back up so discuss there since some people who haven't read the manga is complaining about us discussing it here....

I guess those who read the manga will feel bored ba. Basically repeating what we've read but in a more condensed manner. Yeah for now a bit boring but hopefully it'll be better once they introduced the Briggs ark.

This episode is amazing. Next few episodes all gonna be lots of action I suppose and less flashback and crying.

And those "Spoilers" on the previous page.... I thought they were Anime related =___= So I read them..... Please don't put manga spoilers here or at least tell before hand...

I think this week Envy is much freakier and more detailed. I think maybe he isn't so freaky last week cos he is badly CGed maybe and maybe what Alone said about too many to draw.

I think now they are slowing down and the next episode may likely be a half-filler cause I don't remember that dancing near the fire scene anywhere in the manga.

We don't even know how long more the manga will run for 105? 110? That would take almost at least 6 to 12 months which will be equal to 24 to 48 (6x4 - 12x4) episodes??
I wouldn't mind if from now on they do it almost like in the manga except add a few scenes here and there to clarify things i.e. Envy killing Ishbalan child.

Okay...... ...... ....... Too much free time today so I browsed through it i.e. skipping between pages here and there with chapters that might involve Hohenheim and the only fire camp was him alone remembering about their picture taking session. Oh well, we'll just wait and see then.
