with ceiling fan is better: KDK or Panasonic? Heard that they came from same factory.
Is their remote control reliable. Planned to get 4 blade ceiling fan but still undecided on which is better and reliable. Please advise

Can anyone enlighten us here.
I bought around 5 Units of Panasonic ceiling fans last year and 3 of them started to creak after one year.
I have one unit of KDK but the remote died on me after probably 3 or 4 years.

i think normally ceiling fan is one year warranty. Too bad to hear that, most likely you need to buy a new set. sweat.gif
I've heard the quality of panasonic. That's why i'm still reluctant to choose it.

just to share my unfortunate purchase here:

bought 7 sets pensonic baby fan - 4 out of 7 kaput after 14~16months
bought 4 sets rubine fan with remote - 1 out of 4 kaput after 18month

now replaced with panasonic 4 blades with remote - hopefully can last longer.. if not, then will just buy the most conventional without remote
*
wow...i received feedback that long lasting ceiling fan is without remote.

I go few shop at puchong where they all not recommend Panasonic and KDK fan which with remote control. Did their quality drop?

Any recommend fan to buy?
*
few comments mentioned that those units has problem and they need to claim warranty. Less problematic is without remote control.

how much did u see for a 5 blade?
Is rubine reliable, and worth buying?
*
Can't recalled as i'm not keen on rubine fan. Planned to get KDK.
You can check out their branch either KL or PJ. If you go kl, then got mount the fan on ceiling so you can feel and look

notworthy.gif so fast you go and buy. Already mount it? So how was it.
where do you get it? Planned to get this model as well. Dont really like white color as they tend to get black/change color (dust) after few years

*
ooo....let me ask them. Normally developer got provide but i think it is not sufficient. For extra, i think they will charge

Thanks for the info

Kdk is best in regulator type fan, then how about remote control type fan?
is it also reliable?
*
regulator is so far the most reliable. Going to get KDK (silver) this week. smile.gif

quick go purchase later price increase.

aiyah...this is most common question that i heard after fuel increase. Got immune already.
Most seller already raised price after petrol went up. Must be their trick so you kiasu and buy now rather than go other shop

Between these two;
1) Electrical shop or 2) Lighting shop

which is the best to buy ceiling fans? (in terms of best price and warranty)
any advice?
*
Lighting shop don't provide installation. Just buy and take away. Get from them if you already has someone to help you do installation.
Electrical shop they sometimes offer installation.

- Do make sure that you got enough wiring, hook for fan installation.

I bought from electrical shop as they got provide services such as installation. And they can provide wiring, hook, etc as well.

No lighting point (on the ceiling) for the room? This is very unusual.
*
That is normal. same like my case. It is for light only. So you need to get people install hook & extra wiring. Existing is use for light.

where to get good price for REGULATOR fan?
*
House of lighting, Puchong Utama. I just bought KDK & panasonic ceiling fan and KDK Wall mounted fan there. Work just fine and spin faster & deliver more air down
