Just don't mount the plastic tupperware cup so close to the ceiling that it scrapes.

QUOTE(lankorn @ May 11 2024, 11:48 AM)
What is the correct method to install the ceiling fan to avoid wobbling?
A)Assemble all part and hook to the mounting
B)Assemble all the part except for the blades to be fixed after the motor assembly hooked to the mounting
*
Tolerances in QC. Metal blade model tend to have looser tolerances. You can check the gram weight stickers on the blades.

QUOTE(lankorn @ May 11 2024, 06:19 PM)
What is the diff by fixing the blade before or after hang the body?
*
Mainly how annoying it is when it bangs into your head.

QUOTE(Tikietic @ May 19 2024, 12:36 PM)
hi wanna ask,

is there significance in terms of electricity usage for a AC vs DC fan?

e.g KDK.. both are already 5-star rated.. but prices are few hundred ringgit apart.. is it worth the price?

installing about >7 fans altogether.. so the price differences are significant.
*
Not much difference. Less use of electric kettle will be more saving unless you run the fans 24/7 in mamak stall.

Hello, anyone using Alpha Vannus Luna or Alpha EX9 5B?

Any inputs? Else I go for Panasonic BAYU 5 Series.

First time getting a fan that cost almost rm700.

Panasonic 60-inch Aura Series 5-Blade Ceiling RM644 after discount. Installation by my friend RM50.

Definitely cover more area then my old Deka fan.

Those who upgraded from 56" to 60", is there significant difference or just incremental?

Me getting 1x 40" for smaller bedroom.
Since I asked one of the electrical shop salesmen stay at the same building that whether 56" can fit but it will scratch the air conditioner unit 😂 😂
He actually tested it today said can't fit since we plan to fix air conditioner there as well.

Getting 56" for Master Bedroom, 2nd Room, Dining and Living.

Yes all my bedrooms using 40". The smallest room use 36". I feel like 36" is already sufficient depending how big/small is your room

Thanks for the input.
So far no noise issue right?
What happens if max speed 6?
Too windy? 😂 😂 😂

Never expect 40" also windy.
Since I planning which size to use on my sister's house later.
If fix 56inch will scratch the air conditioner unit.
Either 40 inch or 46 inch.
Most likely take 40 inch.
Then bigger rooms using 56 inch.

No major issues no far

My 52" when installed initially it was swaying a bit. Called Alpha technician, they came and did balancing then issue solved already

One of the 40" room fans when turn on will have some clicking sound but just for a while, after the speed increases the noise disappears

You can refer to the installation manual for the minimum required space, from there can determine the ideal size

Hi, saw your recent post about 40" fanis sufficient for most rooms. I am looking for ceiling fans for my new unit and KDK/Panasonic only has 56" and above...

Alpha Vannus series seems to fit my budget. I have 2 rooms at about 100-110 sqft (10ft x 10ft), is 40" fan sufficient or do I need to go 46"?

Alpha recommends to leave a gap of at least 1m from the blade tips to the nearest wall

according to this you should be ok with 40", even 36" is fine

can check other series from Alpha like Alkova series but sizes are generally larger and more expensive (alkova is their flagship range i think)
