I think you use this function when you turn on the AC and fan together. That way, the cold wind from the AC is pushed upwards towards the ceiling so that room cooling is more uniform (i.e. not direct).

Anyways, am currently using the Alpha AX70 fan for my house. So far, 3 months usage with no issues. Will update this thread if anything.

Hi, how is your AX70 doing until now? I'm planning to buy 4 units for my new condo.

So far so good. I have 7 units in my apartment and all are currently working without any issues for the past 8 months.

For Aeratron better call NSB themselves to install. If I'm not mistaken they only charge about RM35 per fan for installation. Don't let random installer cincai install your expensive fan.

Installed. Stronger wind compared to old Panasonic 4 blades(speed 2 vs speed 2). The speed 5 really fast, strong wind and noisy.
Overall usable. Will feedback further after using few months.

Sorry I didn't add earlier. I also find that the fan cleans really well. My fans are all white so they collect dust like any other appliance. I don't know what material they're made of, but I just use one of the standard static-cling brushes and it gets completely clean. A pleasant surprise compared to the other fans that I owned before this, where sometimes I had to use a wet cloth to clean them.

Anyone using alpha prima? Seem like a new model. DC motor 10 years warranty and cost about 300+. Seem like a good buy but not sure if reliable

Just yesterday my 3 blade kdk regulator ceiling fan stopped working. Fan used for just more than 1 year daily.

Changed the capacitor but not working.

I turned the regulator knob and there is some twitching at the capacitor / rod but the fan won't just turn on.

Plus when I turn the knob there is some voltage sound from the regulator.

Anyone have any idea whats the issue ?

Bypass regulator is easy, just join the two cable from wall at the regulator.
Ur fan should spin full speed.

Sorry, is it like this ? Basically just get both the wires from the wall to tie together either with connector or wire to wire directly?

Else tomorrow i might have to remove the fan and see if its the thermal fuse issue which i googled might also be a sign of fan unable to turn on / spin

EDIT :

or can i just touch the live wire like in this above video mark 8.27 , albeit more dangerous , lazy but faster way biggrin.gif i think i'll just go with the 1st video i shared, connect via connector then on back the MCB to test it out
