So that means fans spoil just after 1 year warranty period? This is very bad.

I doubt you can get it in normal shop.
Even can find it, definitely will cost u an arm and leg. brows.gif

Talk about expensive fan, check the photo below - Haiku fan @ RM1,200 a pice whistling.gif

Stick $$ on the fan cheaper brows.gif Buy 1 of this = 6 - 7 normal priced fans.

Anyway, super modern and sleek design. Love it.

I gone through the survey about the ceilling fan and found even the kdk/panasonic had not so reliable compare to the older model of kdk. Especially those fans using remote, easy to breakdown after 2-3 years... depends on luck...
Since the price for KDK 4 blade is almost RM260 and only 1year warranty provided. So, I had decided to purchase the alpha 5 blade ceiling fan which also RM260 come with 2 years warranty. top add another rm30 then can have the emergency led light... Sound more attractive compare to kdk....
Just my 2 cents...

Hi guys, would like to check, one of the ceiling fan in my house stopped working suddenly. I thought of going up the ceiling to check whether there is any fault with the wiring.
Can you advise which area to look into?

Just bought it about 1 year. Brand is called Regency.
After being advised by friends, I didnt do it myself instead asked an electrician to fix it. Just a 5 min job, and I was being charged RM50...uhuk uhuk...apparently only one of the wires tripped.

1 of my pana fan also not able to control the speed anymore. Always on speed 1 only when turn on.
Thinking to buy new 1, becoz i think if replace the sensor unit at the fan also will cost a lot.

So i will choose KDK this time.

My house got 3 pana from old owner. 1 got problem now.
1 KDK K14X8GY ( just half year with self installation. ) I'm happy with it.
I bought it from cima lighting RM235. Last time i saw newspaper got another shop promo but forgot where selling RM22?-230. Anyone know?
