Actually I'm using iphone installer and twitter to install new apps and posting new twitters..
Unfortunately, after i surf very shortly I realised that it is not using the wifi.
Then, I check my balance it has reduced by RM10!!!

I'm really frustrated

What firmware are you on? firmware 1.1.4 or the latest firmware 2.0.1?

nokia2003 recommend that you download Bossprefs from installer if you're on fw 1.1.4, from Cydia for fw 2.0.1. BossPref has edge toggle to off/on your edge connections.

In my humble opinion:

1. Do not use cursing word. It distracts people

2. Do surf around a little bit more. You may not need to open a new thread

3. Follow both senior members' suggestion.

4. Edge n wifi is easily diffentiated. When u see E logo besides the carrier name, then u r using edge. If u see the signal bar, then it is wifi. This tip is based on assumption that ur fon is normal

5. It is stated in another famous thread that spoofapp is not working in Malaysia. It is for sure works well in US

i was following the step, but after i install Bossprefs from installer and i am fw 1.1.4. i was off EGDE and on wifi. i still unable access to internet. so that i uninstall the Bossprefs. now i also cant accecc to safari. even i on EDGE or WIFI. the box mention cant find the server how?? help pls...

it means that you still accessing internet using ur gprs/edge not via wifi, edge/gprs cannot be disable unless you install bosspref to disable it..if you install bosspref and on wifi then you surf net but cant, means that something wrong with you wifi connection or your iphone wifi problem..please regress and debug more bout your iphone..

i have the same problem after installing BossPrefs and turn off the Edge and yet i can still surf without wifi and i notice on the setting under usage the cellular network data is running any help on this.

well , did you guys notice the small icon at the top left ??

remember to look at it b4 surfing the net .

ICON USAGE :
SIGNAL type = WIFI CONNECTED
DOT , 3G and etc = Not connected , take note if not u will be charged again.

juz RM10??? i used up RM200 in 3 days...till my credit limit reached only i discovered...damn sad
