The latest version of CR-V is the best among all 3 generations, I must admit.

Sadly this latest version of CRV is also the final version as it will be discontinued, despite having good sales.

the power and handeling for 2nd generation is better than 3rd..
the 3rd jus use SOHC and 2nd is DOHC ler...

I'm not trying to be boastful or what. But believe it or not, I have all 3 generations and I'm driving them everyday.
In terms of comfort - 2nd generation > 3rd generation > 1st generation
In terms of power - 1st generation > 3rd generation > 2nd generation
In terms of fuel efficiency - 3rd generation > 1st generation > 2nd generation

Overall, 3rd generation is the best among all 3 generations.

P/S: Please don't quote this message. Thanks.

K20A4 DOHC vs R20A1 SOHC
K20A4 in 2nd generation performs the worst among all K20A4 in Accord and Stream. Believe it or not?

Quite sure - due to rising fuel prices, Honda's new focus will actually be on Hybrids and and smaller fuel efficient cars - according to my contact in Honda Thailand.

So this generation CRV is pretty much the last.

Too bad, but it's not too bad for me. At least I still can taste all generations. Hehe... Anyway, thumbs up for Honda. Good improvement over previous 2 generations.

Turbo CRV? Why dont you just buy a Honda RDX turbocharged with VFT , Variable Flow Turbocharger to reduce turbo lag . A AWD that does 0-60mph in 6+ seconds. drool.gif drool.gif brows.gif brows.gif

It is K20A so you can pretty much do anything to the engine. Can went as far as swapping Type R Head + K24A Block 2.5L and all but cost is sweat.gif
For basic mod on power, start with ecu tune + drop in filter + cat back + high flow cat/cat removal + ported intake manifold if possible but should cost some dough rclxms.gif

Polis kata jangan. The K20A engine is 4th grade, so I doubt it's useful to add all these.
