I'm not sure bro. But my Mega-Key cart doesn't work with that fake MD as well.

Only my Mortal Kombat II cartridge works with the console.

What I notice the one that is sold in shops dont have those bottom slot for sega cd.

But i think there's a writing somewhere on the box "Genuine Sega products".

i never had the chance to play games on the MD system,what games should i look into coz pel n i bought a fake MD system i guess so,maybe wana get some good games to play.

Seeing you guys got the fake MD and due to compatibility issues, some fake games are readily available and here's my recommendation (from what I've seen in the market):

Contra Hard Corps
Castlevania Bloodlines
Yu Yu Hakusho
Gunstar Heroes
Shinobi 3
Sonic & Knuckles

but i dun like the fake MD's controller very unconfortable,im nt sure how the ori controller feels izit heavy, contra hard corps izit like the NES contra?

Contra Hard Corps is the best Contra game I ever play, not even Contra and Super Contra come close

Should be able to play I think. Somehow, most of my ori cartridges can't be played on it. I don't know... maybe my cartridges are faulty already.

Hi, is this the one with the built-in games ? because this copy looks almost exactly the same with the original, but with built-in games and no connector for sega mega cd expansion.

I would recommend to buy the original Mega drive though, it's still the best there is to play MD games with full compability.

I would suggest u getting the original MD console and this would have better compability towards any version of MD/ genesis (ori/ fake) carts (with converter needed for some carts).

Yes, chronims. That's the one. It looks exactly like the MD2, but extremely lightweight and comes with built in 300++ games. Clearly there are no connectors for the Mega-CD expansion, hence it can't be connected to a Mega-CD and yet the box says so. Well, can't complain much... Luckily it's cheap.
I'm still looking for an AC Adaptor with the exact 9V power rating output for my original Mega Drive 2 though.

EDIT: Correction, it's 10V, not 9V. Anyway, the AC Adaptor that came with the fake MD2 has a 10V output, but the connector doesn't seem to fit on my ori MD2.
