urm.. wanna ask u all... is it good to use OCing software like clockgen???

its ok,

but you need to identify the clockgen chip on your board and then check if its listed in clockgen, else if its not, you need to look up the data sheet and custom one, assuming that its supported as per the datasheet smile.gif

i think better u use amd overdrive, u can monitor everything, personally i'll use AOD to find the sweet spot and then tweak the BIOS. Bios still the best but is too time consuming. need to restart.

ou.. i dun have 7-series chipset mobo la... overdrive need 7-series... is it true that setFSB is more popular??

i guess better set FSB in bios better,i prefer oc using the bios features rather than using sware oc.

Oh......didnt realize that your on AMD. Then no, setFSB only works for intel, and I think clockgen isnt updated anymore, but u cud give clockgen a shot
