Hey guys, new undergrad student here. 1st year CS + Management course.

Just want to ask a few questions about the internet service for those who are already using it. I'm staying at Edu Square and as far as I've seen, the only way to get internet is through the Extreme BB wireless service or Maxis/Celcom wireless. How is the service quality of Extreme BB? Is p2p blocked? Because I've heard some people say it is but others say it isn't. I am aware that the campus free wireless does block p2p but what about Extreme BB?

Also is anyone using Maxis/Celcom wireless broadband? I'm thinking if Extreme BB sucks and blocks p2p, I might as well get Maxis/Celcom (leaning more towards Maxis since i've heard Celcom has no coverage down in Semenyih) wireless.

lol if you can manage your time well, u shouldn't have problem with joining SA Ents + holding a committee post in some other clubs or societies. It can be done and had been done by a few SA Ents members last year.

i cant get HSDPA these few day and during raining day.
What i get is jus EDGE/GPRS!!!! Can't on9 most of the time.

Yes guys. its my damn close housemate also..
and guess what.
i saw him 15 minutes before the accident at broga pan mee store.

He was eating with his frens when i arrived with my frens.
So, obviously he left earlier cz he came earlier.
Before he went into the car he gave me a weird smile u know..
then after my meal, on my way back to uni,
i saw many cars parked at the roadside and i saw someone lying on the floor.
I turned my head away until my fren told me that its the gang we met jz now.
then i saw the vios.
then i saw my hsemate lying on the floor unconcious.
Parked my car by the roadside and ran down.
sighhh..
and i had a paper right an hour after that incident.

Damn shocked laaa....
damn damn shocked.. got stunned.

First time encountering an accident so personal.
But i believe God has a plan la.. And life is so super fragile, it is alrd a super blessing we can live and breath at this moment.
So better not waste ur day in any manner, u nvr know whens ur last and when it comes, u'll be facing God all by urself and by what u've done in ur life.
If u're a Christian, i think its a wake up call on how super fragile life is, and how important it is for us to perform our duties as christians, not as humans only..

Pray for his family.
He always talked to me abt his family and i believe to them it is really such such such a huge loss.
He has 2 brothers and a sister, a niece and a nephew. dunno how they're coping now...

Anyway, time to move on tho the memories he left in me will definitely last.

Spring sem I took Engineering Maths 1, is he teaches la..
Then, I guess we asked the class rep to reflect this matter, then also fill in our opinion in the survey form already.
But then yesterday see the Summer sem timetable, he teaches back again.
Think not to attend his class liao de la..
Any idea?
